hello world!

WHO Cleaning Guidelines For COVID-19

The World Health Organisation is a special agency of the United Nations which is responsible for the International Public Health. This agency is made especially to control and look after the health of the whole world.

Covid-19 has caused some devastating results all around the world. This is a disease that the doctors are unable to control or treat.

Why were these guidelines issued?

Considering the outburst of Covid-19 and the increasing number of victims of this disease, WHO issued these guidelines in order to control the casualties and spread of corona virus.

As the research indicated, this virus spreads basically due to contact. This virus is capable of staying on the surface of different objects and then transferring to the bodies of humans and causing them ill. As the surfaces are the biggest carrier of this disease, steps should be taken regarding the cleaning of the basic source so that the spread can be controlled.

As the world is now entrapped in Covid-19, WHO has given some cleaning policies that would help the people around the globe to fight and keep themselves safe.

The following are the basic guidelines by WHO against Covid-19;

  • Everyone should use disinfectants while considering its chemical composition or ingredients. As not all disinfectants are helpful and safe to use. Prefer the disinfectants which are not harsh on your skin and are also able to kill germs.
  • Don’t experiment mixing disinfectants and ammonia together (as both are good against Covid-19). This combination of the two substances may result in the creation of fatal gases. This may also cause problems in your respiratory system.
  • Whenever you are using a disinfectant or any cleaning product, try to keep your children and pets away from the product. The chemicals in such products can cause damage to children and pets after coming in contact. Let your pets and children enter the territory where the product is applied when it is dried or is left with no odour.
  • After using any disinfectant, always try to wash your hands and keep your hands free from disinfectants as the chemicals in them are harsh for your skin and your health.
  • Once you have used the mask or gloves, don’t re-use or recycle them.
  • Throw face mask and gloves immediately after use.
  • Besides disinfection, try to maintain 6-feet distance from others so that the germs that are the main reason of the spread of Covid-19 won’t be able to contaminate you.

Conclusion

In order to keep yourself safe from this dangerous virus, you should try to disinfect and clean the surfaces that came in your contact. This will help you in controlling the spread of corona virus and cleaning the world from this pandemic.
